When will you be back home??
Its been really really long sweetheart.
My heart aches for you everyday,
I can no longer stay apart.




   
     You promised me you would  
     return,
    At the break of spring this 
    year.
    But the flowers seem to be loosing their blush,
    You wont be back soon, that's what I fear.




I have missed you with every breath I took,
With every passing moment.
Slept with OUR picture next to my heart,
Wearing your shirt to feel your scent.




Crossed every date on my calender,
Every time before I went to  bed.
Counting backwards for the day I see  
you again,
Soon it would come, as you  said.




I kept my promise to be strong and patient,
I kept it all the time baby.
Its time you kept yours now,
And quickly come to be with me.
